Church day is celebrated every year on the 2nd Friday of February. Former Pastors will be invited as chief guests to share the word of God. It's a time to thank Him for His goodness.
Right from 2008 till date, 27 people were given baptism which includes both children and adults. Few of them were from other religions too. They have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior after attending our camp prayers and Church services and voluntarily came forward for baptism. From 2008 till date,80 members have taken confirmation. Among the nine confirmation services, eight were conducted by our former bishop, Rt.Rev.Dr.G.Devakadasham and this year, it was conducted by our new Bishop Rt.Rev.Dr.A.R.Chelliah. We thank our respected and loving Bishops for their prayerful concern towards the growth of this Church.
It is one of the usual procedures followed by the UAE churches to raise funds for the smooth running of the churches. We too followed and conducted our first harvest festival in the month of November 2007. From then onwards, we conduct our harvest festival every year to generate income to run the church. From the year 2014, the Bishop of Kanyakumari Diocese is attending the harvest festival every year. We used to visit the CSI churches in other emirates also before the harvest festival to invite and promote through sales of raffle coupons. The auctions conducted on the day of a harvest festival is a major income to meet the church needs for the following year.
