The Sharjah Tamil Congregation, functioning under the Church of South India (CSI) Kanyakumari Diocese, is committed to upholding the mission and pastoral vision of the Diocese through Christ‑centered worship, fellowship, and service. Our ministries are structured to nurture spiritual growth, strengthen families, and equip believers to live out the Gospel in their daily lives. Each ministry plays a vital role in fostering discipleship, encouraging community engagement, and supporting the holistic development of our congregation. Through prayer, teaching, outreach, and compassionate service, we strive to reflect the love of Christ and uphold the rich heritage and values of the CSI fellowship.
Our Junior Church nurtures our children in the foundations of Christian faith through age‑appropriate worship, biblical teaching, and joyful fellowship. It provides a caring environment where young hearts grow in Christ and learn to live out His love each day.
The Church Choir leads the congregation in meaningful worship through music that uplifts the spirit and glorifies God. With dedication and harmony, the choir supports every service by enriching our liturgy with songs of praise and thanksgiving.
The Women’s Fellowship strengthens the spiritual life of women through prayer, fellowship, and service rooted in Christian values. It plays a vital role in supporting the church’s mission by encouraging faith, unity, and compassion among the women within the congregation.
Our Monthly Fasting Prayer, held every second Sunday, is a sacred time of united worship, intercession, and spiritual surrender as the church seeks God’s guidance and strength. Through heartfelt prayer and Scripture meditation, the congregation experiences renewal, breakthrough, and deeper communion with God.
Cottage Prayer brings families together in their homes for worship, Scripture meditation, and united prayer, strengthening fellowship and spiritual growth. Held on the 4th Sunday of each month, these gatherings extend God’s presence into our homes and deepen the bonds within our congregation.
Our Missionary Ministries extends God’s love beyond our congregation by prayerfully supporting missionaries across India in their Gospel work. Through faithful giving and ongoing encouragement, we help strengthen mission efforts that bring hope and spiritual growth to communities in need.
The Camp Ministries reaches Christians in the labor camps across the UAE with worship, prayer, and the hope of the Gospel, offering encouragement to workers far from home. Through regular visits, spiritual support, and resource distribution, this ministry brings comfort, connection, and Christ’s love to those in challenging circumstances.
