The CSI Tamil Parish, Sharjah was established on the 2nd February 2007, with just 7 dedicated families and 25 camp members, ever since, the Church has steadily grown in strength and faith on Christ, the solid Rock! Presently 55families and more than 125 camp members come together for worship at this Parish!
The first service of our Parish was a Holy Communion service, conducted by the Presbyter Muscat Parish, Rev.Christopher Dhas. After that, Rev.Y. Peter (3 months) and Rev.Duraimani(9 months) Conducted the services for about one year.
Followed by them, Rev.I.Arumainayagam rendered service for about 2 months. From May 1st, 2008, Rev.Belson Gramani was officially appointed by the Bishop of Kanyakumari Diocese for a period of 3 years.
Followed by him, Rev.Raja Jeyasingh served as the Presbyter for about 2 years from May 2011 and Rev.Edwin John Devakumar from May 2013 to April 2017.From May2017 till date, Rev.Ranjit Suthir is serving as our Presbyter. During the tenure of these pastors, the Church has grown tremendously.
